President’s Message – July 2020

JULY MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

During these interesting times more and more events are being cancelled or postponed.  The board of officers we take these times seriously.  That being said please be advised that we are planning to having our Annual Meeting at Jackson Fire Station on Sunday, November 1.  More information will be coming as we get closer to the date.

The president has asked that the Training Committee meet to begin our plans to bringing our training program back in place.  The committee is meeting on July 22nd.  Some of the topics will be discussed will be Agriculture Rescue with the Fillmore Fire Department being the host.  We are also looking at plans to host the Winnebago County 114 vehicle incident on I-41, which occurred on February 24, 2019 in late October or early November.

We extend our condolences to the Saukville Fire Department and the Robert Dickman family for the passing of a many year member of the Saukville Fire Department and Auxiliary.

Congratulations to all that “weathered through this storm” of Coronavirus and are still going strong.  As we strive to be an example to the public we serve staying healthy, strong and dedicated.
