AMERICAN TRIBUTE RIDE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT OTHERS
Recently Ron and Ann Naab of the American Tribute Ride Committee presented checks to Lorraine Van Kampen of the Old Glory Honor Flight charter in Appleton. The picture shows Ron Naab, Chair presenting a check in the amount of $2,000.00. This amount will finance four (4) veterans on a one day excursion to visit the memorials in Washington, D.C. This is the 9th year that the ATR has supported the Honor Flights group in the area the ride is happening.
The couple also presented JoAnn Mingon of Concerns of Police Survivors-Wisconsin Chapter with a $1,500.00 check. C.O.P.S. is an organization dedicated to support and assist families that have lost a loved one serving as a Law Enforcement Officer that died in the Line of Duty.
Ron will be visiting with two fire departments in Waukesha and Jefferson counties to explain the duties of being a host site. Thus far Richfield Fire Company and Jefferson Firefighters Association have agreed to be hosts. There is a need for one more stop and plans can begin in earnest for the 2022 fund raising event on July 23rd. Any department, rescue squad or veterans group that would like to be host should contact Ron Naab at 262/716-7292 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
